Achilles manufactures and sells rubberized fabrics created from special rubber with excellent properties such as weather resistance, ozone resistance, and heat resistance, along with rubberized fabrics created from materials such as silicon rubber, fluorine rubber, and urethane rubber. Rubberized fabrics are generally sheets made of cloth bonded with rubber, creating a composite material that has both fabric and rubber characteristics. Compared to PVC, rubber's hardness or strength does not easily change with the temperature, making it ideal for use in environments that experience severe temperatures.
NH8432CR(2Ply)
Highly Weather-Resistant Rubberized Fabric (NH8432CR(2Ply)) features heat-resistant, ozone-resistant CSM on the surface and has the excellent oil-resistant CR topping on both the inside and backside.
SI-450
"Heat-Resistant Rubberized Fabric (Silicone Topping): SI-450" features silicone rubber on the surface as well as heat-resistant aramid fiber on the inside.
AF-350
"Heat-Resistant Rubberized Fabric (Fluororubber Topping): AF-350" features carbon-compounded fluororubber on the surface as well as heat-resistant aramid fiber on both the inside and backside.
VOX Metallic
"Heat-Resistant Rubberized Fabric (CSM Topping + Aluminum Coating): VOX Metallic" features heat-resistant, ozone-resistant CSM with aluminum coating on the surface as well as a base fabric featuring a rugged texture and high tear strength that is used for the inside.
